The whole of the British Air Training Corps is split up into six regions, each of which
contains a number of wings. 2296 (Dunoon) Squadron is in "Scotland & Northern
Ireland" Region, and the "Glasgow" Wing.

Glasgow Wing has 26 Squadrons, and no Detached Flights. A detached flight
is a unit which is not large enough to
warrant full Squadron status, so it is run as part of another Squadron (i.e. a detached
flight will not have its own Squadron number, and will not deal with its own
administration).
